Mutations
Body
Scales: Your character's skin will turn into skin fit for a dragon! Small diamond shaped scales are the most common, but protruding scaly build ups like extra ridge detail, small lizard-like horns (not on the head), and extra flaps of skin (such as neck flare or webbing from leg to stomach) are not uncommon. Cost: 200
Extra odd Color: Purchase this if you wish to add another color to your horse! Cost=200
Extra Fur: A length of hair that runs from the throat latch, under the neck, between the front legs, and disapears somewhere just past the ribs or right before the rear legs. Cost: 150
Emaciated Body: Your character's body will look very skinny and seem as if they starve themselves, when it is only natural to them. They could be skinny enough so that the ribs, hip bones, and vertebrae are seen, or they are just scrawnier and thinner then most equines. Purchase this if you would like a Thestral. Cost: 200
Elongated Body: The equine's body would be longer then normal horses. Everything will look perfectly fine, except that the horse's back and such is long. This streamlines the equine and refines it. Cost: 125
Body Feathers: Much like a bird, your character's body will be covered in feathers. The feathers would act as the horse's fur. The feathers are the color of the horses original, or single color (when first joined, the special color) Cost: 200
Legs
Multiple Legs: This mutation gives your horse an extra set of legs, or if you so choose for a reason unannounced to us, one leg. The legs that are added on will be located either directly behind a chosen pair of legs, or directly in front of them. You are allowed to purchase diagonal sets (one front leg, and one back leg) as well. Multiple legs come in a "pack" of two, meaning if you want eight legs, you must purchase this mutation twice. Ten is the leg limit. Cost=200 per set (or 150 per leg if purchasing one single leg)
Leg webbing: This mutation adds webbing (skin) between a horses knees or front hocks, and travels to under their belly. This mutation can begin either at the knees or begin higher. This provides better agility when flying and swimming. This webbing can be colored as the horses fur tone, skin tone, or have a custom color. Here is a horrid example (please do not think your webbing will look like this) by the silly admin Voodoo, explaining where they are located: img443.imageshack.us/img443/282/weirdnessq.jpg Cost=200 per 2 legs
Leg fins: Located on the cannons of the front and rear legs, providing better, more sleek movement through the water. Can be any color, size, shape, width etc. Cost=200 per 2 legs (or 150 each. 75 per extra leg if multiple legs are also a mutation)
Eyes
Cat Eyes : Instead of the natural, rectangular pupil, the pupil is that of a cat. This mutation can react well with green, blue, and yellow eyes, giving them a bright colorful look. They can give off a subtle glow even in the dimmest of settings. It's just extra "wow" factor. In the sunlight, the pupils will get very thin, but in low light, the pupils become round and large. Cat eyes are accompanied by a black “eye liner” look around the eyes that fades off quickly into the skin's natural tones. Cost: 100 and 50 per extra eye
Lizard Eyes: The lizard eye is narrow and strangely colored, with a slit as the pupil. Your horse will not have regular eyes, and they won't see the same as other horses do. In bright light, the pupil shrinks to a tiny sliver, but in dark lighting, the pupil will widen to allow more light to come in. These eyes make the horse look extra fierce. Cost: 125 and 75 per extra eye
Multiple Eyes: Having multiple eyes gives your horse extra vision. The eyes can be placed anywhere near their regular eyes. All of the multiple eyes look the same. It's like a spider, it gives them more ways to watch for danger. Cost: 50 per extra eye
Pupil-less Eyes: The horse's eye color has voided out or taken and "consumed" the pupil itself. This does not make the horse blind, it just makes the eye one single color. Cost=100 and 50 per extra eye
Cyclops: Having this mutation means your character will only have one large eye in the middle of their forehead. This eye is fairly big, allowing them to see a lot of their surroundings. Cost: 150
Wings
Bird Wings: Wings like a Pegasus. Can be any color. Cost=500 per set (or if you feel the need to have one wing, 300 per wing)
Insect Wings: Wings from an insect. This includes butterflies, bees, moths, dragonflies, and any other insect you can think of. If you buy this mutation, please either create a wing or find one on line to show us what it looks like. Insect Wings allow you horse to fly even if they look delicate. Cost=600 per set (or if you feel the need to have one wing, 350 per wing)
Bat Wings: Wings like a bats. Thin skin cover these bony wings. The wings are the color of the horses flesh. If the horse is a light skinned horse, the wings will be pink. If the horse is a paint, the wings will be blotchy. If the horse is bark , the skin will be blueish black or a nutty brown. Can be colored if the horses coat color has changed (blue if the horse is blue etc) can be used by Hippocamp's as an extra set of wings. Cost=550 per set (or if you feel the need to have one wing, 350 per wing)
Ears
Enlarged Ears : Large, donkey-like ears. These allow for enhanced hearing. Cost: 50 per each extra ear
Elvin Ears : The ears have a tendency to angle backwards even when the character isn't being aggressive/defensive. The ears are now about a foot and a half long (length varies depending on the character). The actual opening of the ears doesn't get longer. Instead, it grows just a tad thinner. The tip of the ear makes up the majority of the length. The character's hearing remains the same. Cost: 50 per each extra ear
Aquatic Ears: Ears that resemble an aquatic dragons. The ear opening shifts from the front to the back so the horse does not get water in their ears. They also become wide and thin, like fins. they can extend down the neck and attach to the purchased neck fins as well. These are used during swimming and create a streamlined appearance under the sea. Your Hippocamp need not have aquatic ears if you do not want them. Is allowed with multiple ears, you just need to purchase an Aquatic ear for each extra ear. This is one example of Aquatic Ears Cost=75 per ear
Multiple Ears: Like the mulptiple eyes, mulptiple ears are placed near the normal ears. They are capable of hearing everything that that the ear is facing. Sizes can very from small to large. Cost: 50 per each extra ear
Hooves
Cloven: Like a camel or ancient unicorn's, your horse will have split hooves. It will have two different toes or hooves, depending on what you choose. Cost: 200 Per 4 Hooves (if purchasing separately, the cost is 75 per hoof)
Tri Toes: Like the horses ancient ancestor, Hyracotherium, your character will have three seperate toes on each leg. Cost: 200 Per 4 Hooves (if purchasing separately, the cost is 75 per hoof)
Lion Paws: Your equine will have large padded lion paws instead of hooves. The paws will match your horse's coat color, yet they aren't as good as running with hooves, yet they are much better at climbing and attacking. Cost: 100 Per 4 Hooves (if purchasing separately, the cost is 50 per hoof)
Horns
Spiral Horn: Like a unicorns horn. Straight and spiral shaped. May be any color; the color will be part of the selected special color one begins with. If no special color is selected, the horn will be white, or a color of the coat. Cost: 100
Impala/Kudu Horn(s): like the safari animal's horn. May be any color; the color will be part of the selected special color one begins with. If no special color is selected, the horns will be black or brown. Purchased as a set. Cost: 150
Ram Horns: Thick, curved horns like a big horned sheep. May be any color; the color will be part of the selected special color one begins with. If no special color is selected, the horns will be gray or brown. Purchased as a set. Cost: 150
Deer/moose/elk Horns: These horns are beamed/paddled and tined like a deer, moose, or elk's horns. they can be of any shape, size etc, but please keep realistic. A three year old horse wont have 20 points. Foals are not born with any horns, they grow as the foal ages. May be any color; the color will be part of the selected special color one begins with. If no special color is selected, the horns will be tan or a dark brown. Purchased as a set. Cost: 150
Neck
Elongated Neck: Similar to elongated back, yet with the neck. Everything else about your horse will be normal, but the horse's neck will be longer, allowing them to see farther. This also streamlines the animal, making them more aerodynamic. The neck can be just a little bit longer, or a lot longer. Cost: 125
Lion's mane: Instead of having a mane, your horse will have a thick and bushy lion's mane that can be long or short. This mane will keep the heat in the horse's neck and head. It also looks very cool. The mane color can be tan, white, brown, or black if the horse does not have an extra color slot. Cost: 100
Shortened Neck: Opposite of the elongated neck, a shortened neck shrinks the horse's neck. This will allow the horse to see the ground better and watch for enemies on the ground. Cost: 125
Neck Fins: Like a fish, the horse will have fins on its neck. This enhances the horse's swimming ability a bit more so it moves faster and is more agile... plus they look cool. Can be any color and range in size. Cost: 100 per set (set=2)
Gills: These enable your horse to breathe underwater for long periods of time. Your horse still has lungs, and will need to breathe when the horse is on land, but gills will allow your horse to breathe underwater. Cost: 150
Tail
Prehensile Tail : Much like a monkey’s tail, or an elephant’s trunk, this tail is like an added appendage which may be used to pick things up, as a weapon in battle, or to simply pluck apples off of a tree. Cost: 200 (for first tail) Cost per individual tail after the first= 100
Lion's Tail: Having a lion tail means your horse will have a long and thin tail, with a bush of fur on the tip. The brush of fur can range in length from half way down the tail, to exclusively the tip. The tail will be the same color as the horse's coat color. Cost: 100
Multiple Tails: Having more then one tail will allow your horse to swat away pesty flies and other insects that tend to bother horses. It can also be used in battle. The extra tails originate from the base of the normal tail area. They can be different colors and can be (after purchase) a snake or lion tails. Cost: 75 per each extra tail
Snake's Tail: Having a snake tail will allow your horse to grip onto something, it is different from the prehensile tail. The snake tail can only grip, not pick up or throw, although it does have great constricting powers. You can have different kinds of snake tails. (example: rattle snake, thin, thick). Depending on what tail you decide on, different uses are attached (the staff will tell you the uses after or before purchase just PM a staff member). Cost: 100 per tail
Fish Fin: Also called a Hippocampi tail. This will allow the horse to swim in the water. Until the horse obtains gills, they are nothing more than a horse with a fin, and must hold their breath until they purchase gills. The horse can change between four legs and a Hippocamp tail when immersed in water that touches their tummy. In order to change back to four legs, the Hippocampi tail must be dry. CANNOT HAVE MULTIPLE FINS Cost: 500
Face
Elongated Face: Having an elongated face gives your character a better chance at reaching apples off of trees, or digging through snow to find the grass. it also creates sleek, refined facial features. Cost: 150

If snake fangs are chosen, the Staff will select the type of poison, or toxin that the equine can expel. Depending on what type of fangs or canines you choose, abilities come along with them. THERE ARE NO VAMPIRE HORSES. Cost: 350
Carnivore: Carnivore changes your horse biologically. It alters their stomach, mind, and anything else associated with eating meat. Carnivore changes your horse from a plant eating animal, to a flesh eating carnivore. There are limitations: horses cannot eat their own kind, and they cannot kill things bigger than them. Cost: 250
Dragon Features: Dragon features could possibly include scales on the face, long and pointy ears, fire, water, chemical, or a type of plant breath that is associated with the equines elemental power. If no elemental power is to be noted, a staff member will randomly select the breath (if any) one would receive. Dragon like features also can include large eyes, a narrow dragon like head, and possibly a forked tongue. The player can choose which features they want, how strong the features are, and when paired with emaciated body, and bat wings, the player's horse will then be upgraded to a Thestral type horse. once again, depending on what you choose, different abilities come along with them. Cost: 550
