Sha'weh cavern
This plant looks like a giant flower. Sha'weh's “petal” colors (depending on age) range from an ancient, deep purple, to a young, sky blue. The ground around the Sha'weh are always littered with small flowers, the same color of the large flower in the middle. This is where the beautiful scent comes from, and when a herbivore bends to eat at the flowers, the large flower in the middle releases a gas that paralyzes the victim. The roots of the plant then scoop up the creature and place the paralyzed animal in the center large flower. The petals close around the animal and then are digested in a soup of bacteria and acid. Sha'weh means “to consume whole” and that's what they do...at least the larger plants. There is one plant, the elders say it is well over300 years old that is known to be able to eat a horse whole. It is located in Ja'zahni. There are three more, smaller non horse eating plants in Vahn.
