Forever Gray-
Covered in a thick fog and mysterious magic, Forever Gray remains a mystery to humans, and a safe haven for equines. Forever Gray is everywhere. It is the shadowy loom of the deep forest, it is the haunting mist of a plain...Forever Gray is nowhere, it is the pendulum between mystical and reality...Forever Gray is a feeling, a thought, a sincere hope for peace....
In the beginning it was all simple...equines mysteriously vanished from their lives of “domestic slavery,” and wild starvation....They vanished from the real world... from Earth. Somehow the equines discovered Forever Gray, a massive island, a gigantic land mass, who really knows what...all the equines knew was that one moment they were living out their lives, and the next they were in a different land, the sky a silvery gray instead of brilliant blue. Although the change was, in most cases frightening to the “New Souls,” they were always welcomed by the equine group who called themselves “The Joined.” The Joined and its sub “rankings” always welcomed New Souls in Forever Gray with joyous smiles, and happy hearts. Life was normal back then, every horse was equal, they all traveled in one massive herd and small peaceful tribes...the New Souls, The Joined, The Mass, and the Wisdoms, each life meaning so much to another...until the Blight arrived...
One warm summer day, hundreds of years ago, a momentary darkness crawled onto the land, pouring a black rain over the entire land mass of Forever Gray, brining with it a change in the equines. Every creature was changed...horns, colors, hooves, wings, and magic capabilities...Everything beautiful and monstrous all at once. No two equines were the same...and that is where the problem now lies...every equine that now becomes transferred into Forever Gray is caught in the remains of the blackened web that ate the sky. Still sometimes The Blight will rain from the sky and further the mutations of equines. The equines are changed, either physically, mentally, or both...and now most are power hungry. Some want to become the Gods or Demons (speaking in the gods of darkness etc) that they and their ancestors believe created Forever Gray.
That was well over two hundred years ago…when The Blight first reared its ugly head on Forever Gray…since then, the sky has been more or less peaceful, very rarely raining the black mutation accelerating liquid.
A new darkness is now on the horizon, and bands of horses are alienating themselves from others and sorting each other by their desires to become something greater...To become Gods, Demons, or something even greater than that. The small tribes of Forever Gray have been extinguished, banded with others, or vanished into the uncharted depths of Forever Gray’s various nations. Now, 256 years after The Blight covered the land, a mare by the name of Voodoo has entered the lands. She studied the horses of Forever Gray, both ones who had entered recently, and ones who have been on Forever Gray for generations. Voodoo discovered some equines had fighting characteristics, and took hold of them, leading them North West, toward the forested mountains of Murdahnteygo. Voodoo crowned herself Queen of Murdahnteygo, and now resides in Hayacah. Lady Kachina, a once very kind hearted, mare receded to the plains lands of Ahmawntreah where she remained Queen until a few months ago when she seemed to vanish, leaving Amaterasu in charge until she returns. Amaterasu decided staying neutral until a proper decision could be made was a very good idea. The land of good, Pradea'dahn had tried to remain as level and as free as possible, but now the residents of Pradea’dahn are seeking a ruler…someone to guide them. Pradea'dahn remains in slight turmoil as pressure from Murdahnteygo becomes stressful. The equines of each Nation are currently fighting for power. Some are scared, others power hungry...and some...some are just trying to live out their lives.
Just out of view, a new darkness has begun to form...Some can see it...others are blinded by the power of The Blight. The Blight that once filled sky has begun to darken once again, Blight is falling from the sky and more equines are becoming mutated and more powerful, promising nothing but trouble. What ever this darkness is, the equines of Forever Gray have no clue what is in store for them....
