Appearance: Both ears are coated with the dark hairs, giving the effect that the mare is wearing a cap. Both dark eyes are ringed with the spilled ink and a dot smudges the corner of her lips on the left side, such a messy girl. The ink-dark hairs cover her belly, reaching higher as the mass nears her hips. The final splash covers a good portion of her rump, running halfway down what had once been a stark white tail.
Personality: Nihala has a rather defiant side. She abhors being controlled or told what to do- she will often do the opposite when commanded to do something. Or she will simply disappear. What she claims to be playful others might see as crass and stupidly daring.
The little mare is often off doing her own thing, uncaring of personal safety. She is under the youthful illusion that she is immortal- she cannot die and nothing can hurt her too seriously.
Although she occasionally enjoys company, Nihala often keeps others at arm’s-length, unconsciously pushing them away if she feels that they are growing too close. She has an unspoken near-phobia of trust and deeper feelings. Then again, she is also fearful of rejection real or imagined (though it has shown that most of the time, the rejection that she perceives is indeed imagined).
She hides that fear behind an uncaring mask and a sharp tongue. No one wants a big-and-bad mare, so that’s how she projects herself. No one wants a mare laden with baggage, so she’ll spin tales of tragedy to the point where she believes them herself- living a lie.
History: Nihala was born to a wild herd. The group was on the smaller size of average- the lead, about six mares, four foals, and her. Her sire was strict, but not cruel.
They lived as any other herd did- on the constant search for food, water and protection- mainly from the humans that often chased after them. Around the time that Nihala had matured into a mare, she began to get some rather unwanted attention from her previously ignorant sire. Disturbed and spooked by his behavior, the little mare left the herd.
A few months after leaving her home, Nihala had been claimed by a trouble-loving stallion, a boy who had surprisingly and quickly captured the little mare’s heart. For nearly a year, it was just those two. And that’s around when Kieran, the stallion, began to collect more and more mares. He began to act colder toward his first companion. Fearful of his eventual rejection, Nihala became cold and cruel herself, lashing out at those around her with hoof and tongue before departing months later.

Yay! I am glad more people are allowing their horses to be slaves at some point in time. I think it makes Forever Gray slightly unique! maybe Voodoo will have fun harassing her lol
