Appearance: Her pale coat of almost white catches and reflects the sun well. Then down to her legs where her beautiful coloring is marred with black and ebon hooves. Her mane and tail is what catches most equines eyes, it burns with the color red and black, again marring her soft coat. Her face is long and lean with the Andalusian build, her soft coat covers her face until it reaches her muzzle where again she is black. Her ice blue eyes catch everything and anything and stand out vividly against her coloring. This is the first thing any equine ever notices about her. It makes her sad when she sees her reflection.
Personality: Her personality? You must be lucky to find out, means she is willing to tell you. By nature she is extremely proud, and yet extremely quiet due to her past. Her greatest strength is running, and almost always escaping. To catch her again you must be one lucky equine. Her sense of hiding and escaping a pursuer startled even her own dam. Her eyes always on the move, keeping watch of her surroundings, she is determined to be aware at all times. Her skittish personality comes to an end once she has become accustomed to her surroundings though. But always the back of her mind tells her to run and never stop. Her mind was scarred with her past of always running. It was ingrained into her.
She can be quite jumpy at times, but what she really wants- someone to protect her and not make her run anymore.
History: As a foal she was happy, loud, playful like any other foal her age. Her sire and dam always kept a close eye on her from the beginning telling her to try and not stand out. They worried about her odd coloring enough as it was and was afraid the alpha would be displeased.
She was raised to trust in the lead stallion at all times and to obey all orders from the leaders, or ones of higher ranking. Her parents on the other hand were very low on the ranking in their herd. They kept her away from the leads and made her bow her head to them if they ever passed within sight of the little couple and their daughter. Bella always wondered why until the day she looked up.
The alpha and his mate had a son, the heir if you will, and as fate decided to have it he was of Bella's age. Bella had never laid eyes upon the heir and wished deeply to see him, her heart ached from not being able to see the alpha and his family. Everyone else got to look, well besides her parents and the even lower ranked horses. She decided one day to look, just a peek as they walked past. She could hear the hoof beats of three equines. She knew the son was with them. Learning the ways of the alpha she supposed. As they neared she rose her head a fraction and saw him. The little ebon colt prancing alongside a beautiful mare.
The mother of the heir was full blooded Arabian, pitch black, shinning in the early morning sun. Her delicate head was glancing towards Bella and her family along with the other low ranked horses who had stood at attention and bowed their heads low to the ground like any other day, but there Bella was, she had not realized she was standing up with her small head up completely staring blankly at the beautiful mare, forgetting the alpha and his son for the time being. The mother had stopped and stared full on at Bella now and a movement caught Bella's eye as the son came around to see why his mother had stopped.
The heir was so handsome Bella wanted to run to him but she was frozen. His delicate features screamed Arabian and his coat matched his mother, but his eyes, his deep green eyes stared into her own. They stared dumb founded at one another for what seemed ages to Bella. The love of her life, the heir, she couldn't help it really, she was caught up in the eyes the heir. He as different, just like her.
"How dare you! You dare look upon us? After we graced you with protection? You little fool!" Came a shrill voice, and yet somehow it still managed to sound beautiful. The mother had spoken. "Those eyes.." She trailed off as she looked from her son to Bella. "How did you..? She spun to face the alpha who stood erect watching with auds laid flat against his head. Now Bella could see him. His coat matched hers. She gasped slightly and backed away only to realized she was alone. Her parents had fled, along with all the others. She spun to look for them and they had vanished into the trees leaving her to face the wrath of the alpha and his family. She shivered and turned to see the alpha walking towards her slowly and as she looked up she beheld the eyes of her alpha, ice blue. All she could do was stare. How could this be? He looks exactly like me. She cowered away from him as he stopped before her.
"So, Bella." Came the harsh words, but there was a undertone that Bella heard and made her continue to stare up at him. His eyes searched her own with a soft look, but he shook out his large head and replaced the gaze with a harsh glare that looked hard to manage. "You are banished." He said in a pained voice and turned to leave. He left with his smiling mate, and the heir who gave her one last look.
Bella collapsed into the grass and shook with fear and every other emotion that ran through her small head. She was 10 months old. Weaned yes, ready to leave the lands? No. She was terrified. But she had no other choice. Her parents made her truly believe the alpha's word was law. If she broke that law then she wold most likely die. She got up on trembling legs and something in her snapped. Her mind took off at a speed unknown to her. Her legs became still and now her body trembled with yearning, yearning to run. With that she was off. A blur into the trees, faster than anyone thought possible. Away from her home.
Aside was the heir, watching sadly as his half sister left their homelands forever, he would never get to know her, never get to meet her. He hung his delicate head sadly and glared after his birth mother. Bella was the true heir. Not himself.
