Forever Gray Index
This index allows the user to find, pronounce, and obtain small information about Forever Gray. We soon hope to record small clips that you can play so you will better understand how to pronounce the words. Everyone sounds out words differently, and if you have any issues, just PM one of the admins or mods for help. Locations and other information will be added as more people join, and more places of importance are discovered in Forever Gray.

The Staff of Forever Gray suggest adding these words to your word processor's dictionary so you don't have to worry about completely spelling them right, the computer will let you know how to spell it after.
Common sounds in Forever Gray's vocabulary
ah- Any words ending with this word section sounds much like when the Doctor asks you to "stick out your tongue and say ah." This "ah" however tends to be a bit softer and not as drawn out. If there is a letter before the "ah," such as Vahn, you want to add the most common alphabetical sound to it. This means not sounding out the letter, but actually melding the actual way you say the letter, K for instance into the word.
awn- Any word having "awn," or "awhn" in it has an on sound. The hn on the end is nothing more but a different meaning in old Forever Gray tongue.
dahn- This gives the word a dawn sound to it
'- yes, ' is part of the Forever Gray vocabulary. the ' tells the reader to end the previous word, make a slight pause, or take a breath.
z,x- z and x are pronounced just as you say the letter z. any word containing these letters has the z sound
Ahmawntreah (ah-maw-n-tree-ah) The neutral country land of Forever Gray, where equines choose to live their lives, discover ways to rid themselves of power, or solidly decide on an alliance. The horses who live here either dont care about the “politics” of Forever Gray, or have found other ways to engage themselves in Forever Gray's wars. Ahmawntreah is predominantly rolling plains.

Forever Gray The massive world where all equines who are caught in The Void (see Void, The) end up
F'rahan (fra-on) A massive mountain valley lake roughly the size of New Hampshire and Vermont together. F'rahan Lake is extremely deep, and in the deeper parts, very cold.
Grahn'Friegh (gran-free) Northern land of Ahmawntreah
Grahn'Lieer (gran-leer) Western land of Murdahnteygo
Hayacah (hi-ya-ca) Northern, and main, ruling territory of Murdahnteygo
Idl'ide (idle-ide (in hide but no h)) Island off the coast of Z'yanka'e'ya. This massive island has been designated as a place where Hippocamp's can meet others like them. It provides safety from the actual land.
Illeao (ill-e-oh) Eastern land of Pradea'dahn
Ja'zahni (ja-z-awen-ee) Southern land of Pradea'dahn
Kahya (say-ya) Southern and main, ruling territory of Ahmawntreah
Keeious (key-you) Ocean located north of Murdahnteygo. It extends from Northern Murdahnteygo, down the west side, and into Z'yanka'e'ya (some where near Idl'ide).
Lehayatah (lay-ah-ya-ta) A huge peat marsh and bog. Located in Grahn'Lieer.
Murdahnteygo (mer-dawn-tay-go) North Western country land of Forever Gray. Horses here are harsh, unforgiving, and predominantly want to descend to demonic power. Murdahnteygan's believe they will reach that demonic goal in the near future. Murdahnteygo is predominantly hilly forest, and rivers. There is no set power requirements for a horse residing in Murdahnteygo
Nah'nawhn (na-non) The breeding and birthing grounds located in Z'yanka'e'ya
Oltan (ol'-tan) The battling fields of Z'yanka'e'ya
Pradea'dahn (pra-day-dawn) South Eastern country land of Forever Gray. Horses here are kind, understanding and have a goal of ascending to the gods. Pradea'daean's (pra-day-dee-ins) seek the good in people, but will fight, not give in. Pradea'dahn is mostly tropical and warm. There is no set power requirements for a horse residing in Pradea'dahn
Quoawama (kwoh-wah-ma) Ocean located off the coast of southern Z'yanka'e'ya and Pradea'dahn. It extends from mid Idl'ide Island, to half way through the Relu Islands (see Relu)
Relu (ree-loo)Islands off the South Eastern coast of Pradea'dahn. The Relu Islands consist of hundreds of small islands and are connected to Ja'zahni and Illeao by three to five mile long low tide sand bars
Sa'Birthya (saw-birth-ee-uh) A great lake located in Eaybrahn. Many land dwelling equine have noted Hippocamp disappearing for months at a time. Many think there may be a connection to F'rahan Lake in Dea'ean
Seh'awn (say-on) Islands located off the northern coast of Murdahnteygo. There is no way to get to Seh'awn Island but by air or water.
Sha'weh (shaw-way) A carnivorous type of plant species that is located in the Territories of Pradea'dahn. Since the land of Pradea'dahn is so large (roughly the size of the United states, maybe more), it is very difficult to locate these plants. As of now, four Sha'weh have been located. Three in Vahn (see Vahn), and one in Ja'zahni. Sha'weh in old tongue means “to consume whole”
Sika (sick-ah) Murdahnteygo's slave trading lands, located in Z'yanka'e'ya. Although the Murdahnteygan's make most use of this plot of land, other equine from Pradea'dahn and Ahmawntreah also have been known to trade slaves as well, though their slave use differs from the Murdahnteygan's slave use.
Sulcher's Pass (sul-cher-s) (pas) Named after a famous Forever Gray explorer, Sulcher. This equine found a safe route between the Uuto (see Uuto) and Yota (see Yota) Mountains so pass between Murdahnteygo and Pradea'dahn was easy and safer. Sulcher's Pass is now heavily guarded on both sides by guards of Murdahnteygo and Pradea'dahn.
Thofyr (toe-fur) North Eastern sea of Ahmawntreah. The Thofyr Sea ranges from Grahn'Friegh to the tip of the first Xubu Islands (see Xubu)
Tuwah (too-wah) Neutral territory of Z'yanka'e'ya. Horses come here to communicate with others of different countries
Uuto (you-toe) Mountains that run horizontally, separating Murdahnteygo and Z'yanka'e'ya. They are of lower altitude than the Yota Mountains (see Yota), and less deadly.
Vahn (von) Northern land of Pradea'dahn
Void, The (void) The portal which carries an equine from the Earth, to Forever Gray. The Void is constantly moving, and is never in one place for more than a few seconds.
Wae'dahn (way-dawn) The Western and ruling, main territory of Pradea'dahn
Xidear (zi-dear) The meeting grounds located in Z'yanka'e'ya. Horses come here to socialize and find mates. Xidear is not completely neutral, equines with different beliefs can socialize and breed, however, they (if caught) risk demotions, abandonment, or worse (this is a rare occurrence set on by the Admins)
Xubu (zoo-boo) Islands of Ahmawntreah.
Yota (yo-ta) Mountains that run vertically through Forever Gray. Separates Murdahnteygo and Ahmawntreah. High altitude, and dangerous passage, although there are safe places to pass through the mountain range.
Z'yanka'e'ya (z-yawn-kae-aye-ya) The communal grounds where all horses enter Forever Gray. Meeting, slave trading, breeding, and other activities take place here
Zyey (zee-yay) Sand bar connecting Pradea'dahn's main territory Wae'dahn, and Nah'nawhn, Zy'anka'e'ya's breeding and birthing grounds
