The soft colored fae streaked through the trees, swerving left and right, trying to avoid smacking into a tree head on. She had done this before, didn't feel that great. Her power of speed was limited, her vision was marred slightly, her breath came and went like the wind once she started in on her extra burst coming from the power deep within her. She may be able to run like no other she had met yet but it could only last so long.
Soon her breath escaped her and left her heaving as she came to a sudden halt. The agility deep within her soul enables the fae to go from a blur to a statue instantly. Piercing blue eyes scanned the terrain before her, it was unknown to her mind. Dial whipped to and fro trying to decipher where she was. A soft snort escaped her maw as she became frustrated and skittish. 'I do not remember these parts, I do not like this one bit.' Her entire bodice was rigid with caution, her speed may not help her for the time being but she was still fast without it, catchable yes but still fast. Her breath came unevenly trying to regain its normal rhythm after the harsh run as crept into the lands of Xidear.
Her frame told of her run, sweat covered her soft coat and colored it darker than usual, she yearned for water now and scanned the terrain for the cool liquid. Auds picked up the soothing sound far off before her and thus she walked toward it still allowing her bodice to stay ridged, ready to run.
Upon reaching the water, instead of dropping her head to drink she simply walked into the water and sighed as the cool liquid rushed over her tired frame. The river she had found was not a large one. Just a small river, winding through the lands, probably unseen to most who passed through unless they to wanted refreshment and sought it out. The fae lowered her dial finally to drink and left the water enter her, cooling her body, calming her mind of the new lands for a time. She loved the water, no she did not hold the power of water, she simply liked to be in the water after a run.
The wind picked up slightly and made the fae lift her head, small pearls of water falling from her maw as she turned in the water to look up the lands she had just crosses. She left the wind sweep past her, blowing her locks along with it. The scents carried on the wind told her there were others around. That sent the fae out of her calm sense of mind. Eyes pierced the surroundings, body went tense. She walked out of the water with grace and stood upon the moist banks of the river and stared around her, unsure of weather or not to run again.
