The incredible power seemed to loom over the equine that stepped out of the dense brush. The crimson pelt stood out vividly against green landscape. The tensed muscles of the equine flexed and relaxed in rhythm as she crept forward. Slightly curved Arabian auds were intensely pinned forward, catching any and every sound possible while ice blue orbs scanned the terrain for any immediate danger. A slight laugh emitted from her velvet maw, "I dare someone to try and attack me." Her whisper was carried away slowly on the wind and died away never to be heard by another living creature. A simple shake of the dial rid the fae of the thoughts drifting through her brain.
The leader of Ahmawntreah made her way into Xidear. 'Fascinating lands we have here.' Upon reaching a small stack of boulders the fae gracefully leapt upon them. Her balance kept her steady and her metal bending mastery produced a hard surface for her to perch upon. Now that she was somewhat off the ground her crimson pelt could be seen easily from any point in Xidear, if anyone cared enough to see. The fae was proud, willing to stand her ground, and silently cared for almost everyone. Her mind was difficult to interpret. Her desire to help those in need was overwhelming but her darkened heart sometimes got the better of her.
The fae was strikingly beautiful at first glance, but if any stag got close enough he would see the scars adorning her legs and the wolf canines marring her velvet maw. Most ran from her, most hated her for no reason, none ever cared enough to talk to her. A some what of a growl left Amaterasu's throat. 'Never again shall a stag turn their back on me. Let them try.. at least now they have a reason to fear me! My power!' She snorted and then a sad look crossed over her blue orbs. 'I don't want others to fear or hate me.' For once Amaterasu's guard was down, completely gone. Her delicate dial dropped down as she gazed off into her own memories, her ice blue eyes became slightly glazed over.
[bgcolor=black]A red yearling mare was gazing at a beautiful golden mare. The golden mare was lifeless, still, and yet still beautiful. The creamy white tassels of the golden mare were standing on end, popping and sparking with static. The yearling just stood there, gazing softly at the golden one. Until she was jolted out of her trance by an angry cry. A flaming red stallion stood over the golden one now, anger flaring and eyes burning into the yearling. The yearling gaze a cry of pain and fell to the ground hard with static sparking and popping though her own mane now, a new streak of white running through her mane.
Her velvet maw parted into a snarl showing her wolf canines to anyone close enough to see. Her once glazed over orbs now returned to their normal state. "I do not want to be hated." She growled. Auds pinned back slightly as she snaked her head from left to right glaring in each direction. Small spikes began to appear down her back, like the spikes of a dragon, but these were made of bone. Her flaxen mane and tail started to spark with static and jump to life with red flames here and there. The metal perch she had made began to melt underneath her ebon hooves as her anger flared. the metallic liquid being melted by the mare began to run down the boulders she stood upon. "Why does everyone hate me!" Her voice was lifted into the air and flung into the surrounding area.
Her anger was a bad thing. She would become blinded by it, controlled by it. But deep inside her mind something was calling her back. Her soft side, her calm side. Slowly the static began to fade along with the flames adorning her flaxen mane. Her hooves soon stood on newly formed metal. She silently thought of the metallic liquid she had melted, 'Freeze.' The silver flow halted and hardened instantly leaving a frozen silver waterfall upon the boulders. Her metal plate which she stood upon shone silver in the approaching moonlight since the sun had recently set taking with it another day. The spikes marring her well formed back slowly disappeared as she regained control of her temper.
With that the fae hung her head in shame and defeat. 'No one wants me. I must have been created to rule Ahmawntreah. Not to be a normal fae, one to fall in love, to be loved. No I suppose not. Ahmawntreah is my home, my life, my duty. I shall rule it as long as I can. Up until the day Kachina appears.' She looked up ever so slightly as a small sound drifted towards her crimson auds. 'A twig just broke. Another equine.' Instantly her delicate dial rose, her neck taking on a breathtaking arch, her tail lifting slightly in an Arabian pose. Her nostrils flared trying to catch the scent of whom ever dared approach her. Gently the mare parted her lips, showing her wolf canines once again as she decided to speak, "Who goes there?" Her voice was carried over towards the origin of the sound.
